A knitting kit for the ALVA shawl from the second issue of GABO magazine. Project designed by Magdalena Włosek @heklovane

THE SELECTED KIT INCLUDES GABO MAGAZINE II IN PRINTED VERSION (by purchasing this kit, you no longer need to add the magazine to your cart :) as well as dedicated yarns in selected colors and quantities corresponding to the chosen size.
Remember that GABO Magazine II contains as many as 10 knitting patterns!

The shawl from the photos was made from yarn: ECO BABY BRUSHED, main color Brown (FTE1301) and contrasting color Beige (1297)

The shawl is worked in rows, using two yarn colors. Te yarn is held double (of the same color), and the colors are alternated according to the indicated sequence to create horizontal stripes. Each row begins and ends with two knit stitches worked using the I-cord method, which prevents the edges from curling and gives them a neat, flat finish. Then, the vertical stripes are crocheted by "knitting" a classic chain into the purl columns. Finally, on both sides
fringes are added to the scarf.
