The SUENO sweater is a classic, relaxed-fit sweater that combines minimalist design with a cozy feel. Its simple silhouette and round neckline make it a perfect addition to an everyday wardrobe. It’s one of those sweaters you’ll want to wear season after season.
The sweater shown in the photos was made using a combination of MY TIME MERINOin Burgundy (9212) and MOHSILKO in Burgundy (4212).
In the photos, the designer is wearing size M (height: 174 cm).
You’ll find more information about the project, gauge swatch, yarn requirements, and accessories below.
The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down, partly in rows and partly in the round. It is worked in stockinette stitch, with 1×1 ribbing for the trims. The sweater features a simple, boxy construction and a low mock neck.
You begin by working the back of the sweater, shaping the sloping shoulders using German Short Rows. You then continue working the back until you reach the underarm. Next, the right and left front sections are worked in rows, while simultaneously shaping the neckline. The two sections are then joined, and the front is worked until you reach the underarm. The front and back are then joined and worked in the round until you reach the ribbing. The sleeves picked up and worked in the round, with decreases worked simultaneously to shape them. The collar is then picked up and worked in the round in 1×1 rib.
