The FLUFFINI sweater is a soft, cozy design with a timeless silhouette that combines a classic shape with subtle cabled details. The distinctive cable pattern and small textured motifs stand out beautifully against the fluffy fabric, giving the sweater its unique character. It features a relaxed, slightly oversized fit, dropped shoulders, and sleeves finished with ribbing. The higher mock neck keeps your neck warm, making FLUFFINI the perfect project for colder days.
The sweater shown in the photos was made using FOG yarn in Wenge (6351).
In the photos, the designer is wearing size M (height: 174 cm).
You’ll find more information about the project, gauge swatch, yarn requirements, and accessories below.
The FLUFFINI sweater is a beautiful mock-neck design featuring a delicate cable texture. It is worked seamlessly from the top down, partly in rows and partly in the round.
You begin by working the back of the sweater in rows, while simultaneously shaping the sloping shoulders by increasing stitches. The back is worked in rows until you reach the underarm. Next, the left and right front sections are worked in rows, while simultaneously shaping the neckline. The two front sections and the back are then joined and worked together in the round until you reach the hem, which is finished in 1×1 rib.
The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round, with decreases worked simultaneously to shape them. The sleeves are finished in 1×1 rib.
The mock neck is picked up and worked in the round using 1×1 rib and stockinette stitch.
