The DREAM BIG sweater is a striking design that combines timeless elegance with coziness, softness, and a beautifully textured knit. Its slightly oversized fit, statement cables, and delicate lace details create a harmonious design that catches the eye and makes this sweater a favorite wardrobe staple. Exceptionally comfortable to wear, thanks to the use of FOG yarn.
The sweater shown in the photos was made using FOG in Beige (6680).
In the photos, the designer is wearing size M, which provides approximately 30 cm of positive ease around the bust (height: 174 cm).
You’ll find more information about the project, gauge swatch, yarn requirements, and accessories below.
The DREAM BIG sweater combines elegance and comfort. It features an oversized fit and is worked seamlessly from the top down. The sweater begins with two shoulder panels. The back is then worked, shaping it with German Short Rows before continuing in rows. Next, the front is worked. First, the left front is created, using German Short Rows to shape both the shoulder and neckline. The right front is then worked in the same way. The two front sections are joined to complete the neckline shaping, allowing the front to be worked across the full row. Next, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, and the work continues in the round, with increases worked simultaneously to shape the underarms. Once this stage is complete, the stitches are divided into the body and sleeves, which are each worked separately in the round. The collar is worked by picking up stitches along the neckline and continuing to the specified height for a folded collar.
