Yarn group: Bulky

100% Peruvian wool

Products made from this yarn require gentle hand washing at a maximum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius using mild detergents intended for wool.

After washing, don't twist or wring the fabric too much. Gently squeeze out excess water. Wrapping the fabric in a thick, absorbent towel can also help.

We recommend drying your garments flat, spreading the fabric to the desired shape, and then leaving them to dry naturally. Do not accelerate the process by using tumble dryers or radiators. Do not dry your garments in direct sunlight.

FINE HIGHLAND WOOL is a yarn sourced from Peruvian highland sheep. These sheep are a cross between the Corriedale and Merino breeds. We use the finest possible fibers (24 microns) for production.

FINE HIGHLAND WOOL is a single yarn, meaning it's a single-strand, slightly twisted yarn. Extra-long fibers are used to reinforce it, improving its strength.

A thick, full-bodied, fluffy, and very warm yarn. Recommended primarily for winter accessories: hats, headbands, and cowls, but also for vests, sweaters, and cardigans.

For a hat, you only need 1.5 skeins of FINE HIGHLAND WOOL, and for a headband, you only need 1 skein!

Working with this yarn is incredibly satisfying - due to its thickness, your knitting grows very quickly and the results are visible almost immediately :)
