FRANIA is an oversized, airy tee with 3/4 sleeves. It is knitted from the top down on 8 mm needles with a double strand of MOHSILKO yarn. The simple cut, relaxed fit, and i-cord finish give it a minimalist yet striking character. This is a lightweight project that knits up surprisingly quickly and will be perfect for year-round wear.
FRANIA was made with a double strand of MOHSILKO yarn (61% super kid mohair, 24% mulberry silk, 15% merino) in the color Morning Mist (4751).

About the project
FRANIA is knitted seamlessly, top-down, using the raglan method, with two strands held together, in stockinette stitch. The work begins by casting on stitches for the neckline. Then, the raglan construction is created by increasing stitches for the sleeves and body until the underarm. The sleeve stitches are transferred to waste yarn, and the rest of the body is knitted in the round and finished with an I-cord bind-off. Next, the flared sleeves are knitted, also finished with an I-cord bind-off. Finally, stitches are picked up for the neckline and immediately bound off with an I-cord.

GAUGE: 12 stitches × 17 rows/rounds = 10 × 10 cm [4 × 4 in]
in stockinette stitch, using 8 mm needles.
