You can find more information about the project below.

WIKI The balaclava is knitted with two threads held together, top to bottom, using a stocking stitch. It begins by working the crown in rows. After the crown is knitted, the stitches for the main piece are picked up along both lines of edge stitches and joined with the live stitches of the crown. Work continues in rows until the lines along the face contour are completed, which are formed by increasing stitches on both sides of the fabric. Then, on the front, stitches are added to join the sides, and the entire piece is worked in rounds from that point on. The balaclava is finished with a 1x1 rib. Finally, around the face opening, the stitches are picked up and worked in a 1x1 rib stitch, after which the pleat is folded in half and joined to the cast-on line.
