A DIY NIKO sweater knitting kit. Designed by Karolina Adamczyk @kroopa.knits.
This set includes a paper version of the pattern and a dedicated yarn in selected colors and quantities corresponding to the selected size.

NIKO is a classic-cut sweater with a wonderful jacquard yoke, decorated with a geometric, repeating jacquard pattern, which should pose no difficulty even for beginners in this technique.

The sweater in the photo is made of BABY ALPACA yarn. The main color is Marine (1565), the contrasting color is Nature (100). It's a size S.

You can find more information about the project below.

The sweater is worked in the round from top to bottom. It begins with a short rib, then the neckline is shaped using short rows. Next, a jacquard yoke is worked, after which the sleeves and body are separated. The sleeve eyelets are placed on pieces of extra yarn, extra cable ties, or large safety pins. The body and sleeves are worked last. The length of the sweater and sleeves can be easily adjusted to suit your figure and preferences.

In larger sizes (2XL-5XL) the jacquard pattern is longer to accommodate the deeper yoke.
The instructions are supplemented with supporting videos demonstrating the following techniques:
– German Short Rows
– increasing stitches in jacquard

Techniques used:casting on stitches, knit stitches, purl stitches, knitting in rib, knitting in pattern, knitting in the round, lifting stitches from the edge, short rows (help video), yarn over, purl yarn over (help video), reading diagrams.
