FRANIA is an oversized, airy tee with 3/4 sleeves. It is knitted from the top down on 8 mm needles with MOHSILKO held double. The simple cut, relaxed fit, and i-cord finish give it a minimalist yet striking character. This is a lightweight project that knits up surprisingly quickly and will be perfect for year-round wear.
Pictured FRANIA was made with MOHSILKO held double (61% super kid mohair, 24% mulberry silk, 15% merino) in the color Morning Mist (4751).

About the project
FRANIA tee is worked seamlessly from the top down using a raglan construction, with two strands held together throughout, in stockinette stitch.
It begins by casting on stitches for the neckline. The raglan construction is then created by increasing stitches for the sleeves and body until the underarm. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body continues in stockinette stitch in the round, and finished with an I-cord bind-off.
The sleeves are then worked in stockinette stitch, gradually increasing in width, and are also finished with an I-cord bind-off. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline and immediately bound off using an I-cord bind-off.

GAUGE: 12 stitches × 17 rows/rounds = 10 × 10 cm [4 × 4 in]
in stockinette stitch, using 8 mm needles.
