FRANIA is an oversized, airy tee with 3/4 sleeves. It is knitted top-down on 8 mm needles with BABY SILK YAK held double. Its simple cut, loose fit, and i-cord finish give it a minimalist yet striking character. It's a lightweight project that works up surprisingly quickly and is perfect for all year round.
Pictured FRANIA was made with BABY SILK YAK held double (42% baby alpaca, 35% mulberry silk, 13% merino, 10% yak) and the color is Scarlet Red (9301).

About the project
FRANIA tee is worked seamlessly from the top down using a raglan construction, with two strands held together throughout, in stockinette stitch.
It begins by casting on stitches for the neckline. The raglan construction is then created by increasing stitches for the sleeves and body until the underarm. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body continues in stockinette stitch in the round, and finished with an I-cord bind-off.
The sleeves are then worked in stockinette stitch, gradually increasing in width, and are also finished with an I-cord bind-off. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline and immediately bound off using an I-cord bind-off.

GAUGE: 12 stitches × 17 rows/rounds = 10 × 10 cm [4 × 4 in]
